David is an experienced Executive Search consultant and HR Consultant who was previously responsible for the management and strategic direction of the HR Consulting business for Chandler Macleod. David has particular expertise in the area of leadership assessment and development and coaching with a wide range of public and private sector organisations throughout Australia.

David has extensive experience in the chartered accounting, human resources consulting and management consulting professionals as a senior executive and partner. He has also held senior financial and general management positions in commerce.

David’s experience has been gained at all levels within client organisations, involving CEO selection and assessment, strategic consulting, strategic planning, remuneration strategies, leadership, career management, succession planning, performance management, outplacement, human resources management and training.

David has been closely involved in executive recruitment for 15 years in Queensland at Chandler Macleod and Hudson Global Resources. In particular, roles he has filled include, CEO Energex, Executive GM Ergon Energy, CEO and HRD roles in Queensland Health, Executive Director roles in Departments of Main Roads, Justice, Minerals & Energy, Employment & Training, Racing, Sport & Recreation, Primary Industries and Education. He has also been involved in a number of senior executive roles for Clayton Utz, Mater Hospital, Wesley Hospital, Endeavour, St Andrews Hospital, Greenslopes Hospital and Uniting Health Care. Other clients he has consulted to include Bradken, BIS Industries, Thiess, BHP, Anglo Coal and Fosters. He has also been involved as a panel member for a number of CEO roles.
