Summary of Experience

Nick is a Partner in Luminary Search and responsible for identifying and selecting general managers and functional heads of business units across industries including energy and utilities, consumer goods and the services sector. He has a strong focus on identifying and selecting high achievers who can positively impact organisational performance. He has recruited at chief executive, chief financial officer, chief information, chief operations officer, general manage and executive director levels.

Nick joined Chandler Macleod in 1998 in Executive Recruitment and Consulting, and has conducted high-level assignments for industry leaders including George Weston Foods, Woolworths, Housewares International, BHP, P&O Ports, Leighton and BOC. He has established his own recruitment practice outside Chandler Macleod before being approached to merge his business back into the Chandler Macleod Group.

Nick manages both executive search and advertised selection assignments for his clients across Australia. He has extensive experience in identifying the skills, abilities and behavioural competencies in individuals that lead to top performance in critical organisational roles. His focus is on understanding the key business drivers underlying client requirements to ensure the strong match of individuals with the business culture.

Graduating from the University of New South Wales in Social Science, Nick’s structured background in research helps to construct a valid and reliable end-to-end selection methodology. Nick has contributed to various articles in the Sydney Morning Herald and selected business media across Australia.
