Remuneration services focus on the design, implementation and continuing development of reward and recognition processes which help organisations improve performance. The focus is on securing reward equity and competitiveness across internal, external and performance dimensions.
Remuneration Service Areas:
Individual
We focus on determining individual remuneration in both quantum and structural/package terms. Services meet a variety of organisational needs, including managing ad hoc attraction/retention issues and providing objective external advice at salary review time. This includes acting for the Board in determining chief executive reward, preparing Board submissions for chief executivses and assisting chief executives determining reward outcomes for their reports.
Team
Here our services focus on discrete workgroups within the organisation. This includes individual job families such as information technology, finance or sales at regional or national levels. In this, we also include cross-functional groups such as first-line executive teams. Our focus is on designing reward structures that elicit collegiate behaviours in pursuit of shared business objectives.
Organisation
In this context, we focus on organisation-wide remuneration audit/review processes focusing on securing internal, external and performance equity and competitiveness within the market, given the organisation's unique operating environment. The operating environment can be impacted by legislative or regulatory change, competitor strategy and competition for labour.
Remuneration Sources Utilised
Luminary Search utilises all available published remuneration data, including Mercer, AIM and Hay Group, The Connect 4 Boardroom Report and the Top 500 Report. Luminary Search is a licensee and experienced user of the National Remuneration Centre's Jobscore Salary Software. This software is useful for evaluating idiosyncratic roles which may not appear in remuneration surveys.
